Radiator covers, more than just a pretty face?

There's no getting away from the fact that radiators aren't usually the most attractive feature of a room but made-to-order covers can offer so much more than simply covering up unsightly radiators.

Here are our top 5 reasons for using radiator covers:

1. A radiator cover enhances the appearance of your room. The most obvious benefit of having a radiator cover is that it can hide a radiator that you feel lets down the decor of the room. There

are plenty of designs to choose from so find the right one to suit your style and interior.

2. A radiator cover can be used as an item of furniture. Use the top portion of your radiator cover as additional space. Use it as a shelf to display items such as books, memorabilia, picture frames, ornaments, candles and anything else that you can think of.

3. Radiator covers can help lower down your heating bills. A radiator cover can direct heat out into a room rather than letting it move up towards the ceiling. This helps to spread the heat and is particularly good for radiators positioned underneath windows.

4. Radiator covers are easy to care for. Radiator covers help prevent the hard to remove dust and dirt that accumulates on and behind the radiator. They also offers

protection for your radiator from knocks and scratches.

5. Radiator covers offer protection from hot radiators. This is especially good for children. The radiator cover allows you to have your radiators on full during cold winter days with the knowledge that they are out of reach of little hands.

If you would like a quote for a radiator cover for your home please get in touch. We can make them to most sizes and styles.

We love making these charming, simplistic little birds. Made simply from solid oak and a touch of gingham ribbon these birds make a lovely gift, especially with a personal message from you handwritten on the back.

One bird on it's own looks lovely looped over a doorhandle or hung in a window for all to see. They are great as a stocking filler or as Christmas decorations.

We smooth the rounded edges and leave the wood unpainted because oak, just like these chirpy chaps, is full of character!
